We believe young people hold within themselves their own music.
Over the course of the school year, students had the opportunity to participate in an exciting new program during which students explored and developed their creative voices by writing and recording their own music for this album.
Students worked hard to write and record their lyrics & melodies throughout this collaborative creative process. This album reflects our students’ determined efforts and potential.
The great variety of song on this recording is testament to the boundless imagination of young people given the opportunity to speak, write, & sing!
We are proud to present this collection of songs written & recorded in this inaugural year of Music Ascension programming at the East Fordham Academy For The Arts.
We hope you enjoy the spirited efforts of the students as they worked to create something powerful, something true, something of which they can be proud.
