HEAR ME OUT
We are deeply honored to have been asked to work with the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas H.S. in Parkland, Florida. This original song was written and recorded by MSD students in one of their classrooms with the assistance of Music Therapist Bree Gordon. This song puts forth the emotions and insights of these young people as they participated in the Healing Through The Arts initiative at Camp Shine this summer.
We invite you to hear another side of their story…

Camp IHC Album Summer 2019
Produced by Teaching Artist, David Bolaño
The IHC Summer 2019 album was written, produced and recorded during 7 weeks at camp IHC. The kids had the opportunity to explore their creativity by writing songs, making rhythms and sharing ideas with other campers in the IHC’s brand new recording studio. The purpose was to allow them to be the artists they are by encouraging them to find new skills that they might not know they had: writing songs, playing an instrument, and even singing. During the summer they had the possibility to establish relationships with their friends through music, and with the release of the album they can share the same feelings and thoughts with the world.
