"Hear Me Out" was written by students living in the aftermath of the February 14th, 2018 school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, FL
We are deeply honored to have been asked to work with these courageous young people, their school, and their community.
This original song was written and recorded by MSD students in one of their classrooms with the assistance of music therapist Bree Gordon Lukosavich. This song puts forth the emotions and insights of these young people as they participated in SHINE MSD’s Healing Through The Arts Initiative at Camp Shine 2018.
