Director of Programming

Pete has been making music for as long as he can remember. Classically trained by world class musicians in New York City, Pete got his start with private piano lessons at age four. Throughout his childhood and adolescence, Pete continued his dedicated study of piano, guitar and drums which led to his decision to pursue a degree in music composition.   

Pete took his undergraduate studies to NYU Steinhardt, developing a deep understanding of modern, contemporary and electronic sounds. The result is a rare musical talent that allows Pete to merge classical and modern sounds and create groundbreaking new music.

After finishing his Masters Degree at SUNY Purchase in 2017, Pete has gone on to continue releasing music under the name “Pedrodomus,” and has had his work placed in TV shows such as American Pickers and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. As a performer Pete has played with many different acts and has had the opportunity to tour the country and share the stage with acts such as Steely Dan, Eric Clapton, Alabama Shakes, Parliament and more. 

Most importantly Pete believes in the power of music and how it can change the world for the better. Pete continues to be a fervent educator as a private teacher and in his role developing other future musicians, educators, and music programming with Music Ascension. Not only does he have a practical sense about how to turn musical ideas into a finished product, Pete has an uncanny ability to channel that energy into his skills as a facilitator and mentor.
