APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

Take your creativity to new places this summer by collaborating with other young musicians, writers, music producers, and kids who just love music! Whether you’re a vocalist, instrumentalist, writer or all or none of the above, your contributions will be a valued and important part of the team. Work with others and on your own to write, record, & produce a professionally mixed and mastered original song for you to keep and share 10 days after you start your songwriting process!

We welcome you to take this opportunity to further develop and express your own authentic and artistic self. Not only will you be able to create alongside other campers who are passionate about music and music technology, your group will be guided by one of our amazing Teaching Artists who is a professional musician and music producer. Our award winning collaborative songwriting process has helped thousands of young people to encourage and support one another as they each individually strive to put forward their best creative self.

We know that many of us are feeling some “online fatigue” after being home from school and work these last months. While we will be using video conferencing to gather and online music production software to create, each day will involve time where we use our EARS much more than our eyes. We’ll also be playing music games that will have uson our feet and making improvised music and lyrics. In addition to that, we will providing opportunities for you to work on your lyrics, creative writing, as well as tracking vocal and instrumental parts in between our online workshop sessions.

Writing and recording lyrics and songs is one of the most fun and rewarding things you can do. Finding and further developing your own creative voice is a powerful process. Let us help you along your way!
